Let me tell you a short story based on true events.
Once upon a time, a girl made a plan which she thought was the most perfect strategy of her life at that time. After all of her experience in lawyering & gubernatorial election campaigning, she thought it should be the perfect time to study abroad.
Everything went quite well. She got in to the most exciting program with interesting syllabus in a great uni in the city that she loves.
Master of Arts in Legal and Political Theory in University College London. She had read several relevant books. She even had started the draft of her research outline for her thesis. (Yes that is how much she wanted it.) All she needed to do was waiting.
Little that she knew, along with that greatest news came another opportunity for her. A big and rare opportunity. But, she had to choose one. And in her 25 years of living, it’s going to be the most important decision she has ever had.
She’s a small creature lives in a little blue pale dot who always try to satisfy her curiosity about (literally) everything. She keeps trying to understand how the universe works. She learns everyday.
Too many wishes & things that she wanted to do & to be; even though she knew she was not the smartest, the kindest, the greatest strategy planner or such. She only wanted to be a better being everyday with no regrets. She never prayed for all of her wishes to come true; instead she asked God to give her the power to choose her dreams wisely and to be able to prioritize.
She follows her heart;
she trusts her intuition;
she believes in her guts.
And all of them told her that she has to stay.
And so, she decided to stay.
And she always remember: To have courage and always be kind.
But... why? Why she should stay?
(To be continued)
